"Chaoren ancestors in Shanghai" was published

　　It has been said that Chaoren made a living in Shanghai for a long time. More than 200 years was recorded in writing. The Chaoren history investigation group was established in 1995, and was led by Fang Xiaolan, the deputy president of Chaoshan sodality in Shanghai. The group collected various Chaoren historical materials. They visited some old Chaoren living in Shanghai and recounted some stories told by them. Using this information and referring to some archives and some theses, they wrote the book "Chaoren ancestors in Shanghai". It recorded the footmarks of Chaoren in Shanghai who earned a livelihood in a strange place with a united and enterprising sprit, experienced with the setback of hardship and happiness of success. This book also recorded the sublime spirit of Chaoren cultural soldiers who disregarded their own safety during the cultural artistic revolution under the white terror in the middle of the 20th century. It is a textbook to educate the younger generation.
