　　"The collection of Chaozhou poems" was published by Shantou University Press recently. It has 50 volums and more than 1-millon words, including more than 6530 poems of 436 chaozhou-born poets from the Tang Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. It is the composition of the essence of Chaozhou poems in the past dynasties that was compiled by chaozhou-born Wen Tingyu, famous poet and scholar, at the initial time of Republic of China. The original one is a handwritten book, the only existing copy, the regular script transcript from Shantou library and two are one volume, amount to 18 volumes, which is one of the most valuable documents extanting in ChaoShan area and one collection of Chaozhou poems kept completly.
