　　Published by Huacheng Press recently, " The collection of theses of the third Chaoshan studies international seminar " compiles 72 theses from the seminar, which was held at Hanshan Normal College on October 28, 1999. Among the 72 theses, 17 are of the topic on “Han Yu and Chaozhou”, 11 discuss the custom of Chaozhou, 11 deal with Chao drama, and more than 30 relate with other subjects. The article "Comment on Yuan Xiangmai's notes to 'Han Wengong distinctive biography" written by professor Rao Zongyi from Hong Kong university, focusing on trifle points, contains the penetrating and correct judgments to the academic history of Song-Yuan dynasty and the religion history. Other theses relevant to the researches about Han Yu, the diet custom of Chaozhou, source and course of the Chao drama, and "Shan Tang culture" etc also comprise deep, original opinions and pithy analysis.
