The fourth chaoshan studies award application announced to commence

　　The chaoshan studies award committee of the chaoshan history and culture center held a meeting on Feb.14th and announced the fourth chaoshan studies award application to commence.

　　Three sessions of chaoshan studies awarding have been held till now. It will be held every three years from now on. Anyone who made great contribution to chaoshan history and culture study, dissemination and material collecting can feel free to apply for the award before the end of April. The general award committee will judge all the awards finally after the first round judgement.

　　The awards are categorized into three types such as research award, dissemination award and material collecting. The research award is mainly set for published academic articles or books. The dissemination award is set for those who dedicate themselves to chaoshan-culture-related publishing, exhibition, foreign culture exchange, audio and Veda products making, opera performance, newspaper advertisement, training lecture and academic seminars. The material collecting award is set for those who have made remarkable contribution in material collecting. To those who have made extraordinary contribution, another award is set called "special honor of chaoshan culture promotion". This award is categorized into the 1st award, the 2nd award, the 3rd award and preliminary award. The preliminary award is established for 20 candidates.

　　Any individuals and organizations from home and abroad can apply to our center directly or recommended by overseas chaoshan associations, supervisors in your workplace or authoritative individuals.
