"Chaoshan History Data Collection" Comes Out
·Chinese·
"Japanese pirates and Chaoshan people's resistance
in Ming Dynasty" and "Chaoshan people resised against
Japan", the first and second parts of "Chaoshan
History Data Collection" are published.
These history data are collected and edited by the committee
of the Chaoshan History and Culture Study Center. They collected
the data from the folk, and consulted the documents from the
libraries, archives and local chronicles offices, and compiled
books in different topics.
Compiling these books, the committee follows three rules.
The first is to be scientific and standardize. All the books
must have the same stylistic rules and layout. The second
is to be true to the original. Keeping the original views
and narration. To be objectively is the third. The books faithfully
represent the history. They'll not have comments of the editors.
The committee has been founded in 1995. And now the books
about Chaoshan history and Chaoshan people they collected
are over twenty thousand.
