The Study Center of Chaoshan History andCulture: Preparing the Celebration of the 10th Anniversary

　　 The 10th anniversary of the Chaoshan History and Culture Study Center will be in the first ten days of the next August. And that day will also be the birthday of the 85-year-old Center adviser--Mr. Rao Zongyi, who has had his study activity for 65 years. Now the Center is preparing the celebrations for these two events.
　　 The celebrations will include an exhibition of the achievements of the Center, the fourth awarding ceremony of Chaoshan-studying, Mr. Rao’s painting and calligraphy exhibition and the forum on celebrating Mr. Rao’s 85th birthday and the 65th anniversary of his studying career.
　　 Meanwhile, the Center plans to issue 20 books for celebrating the 10th anniversary to show the great achievements of it. They are all together about 4.5 million words.
　　 The books include Chaoshan History, Memorial Volume of the 10th Anniversary of the Chaoshan History and Culture Study Center, Chaozhou Poetry Assemble, Chaoshan Studying(the 9th volumn), Pictorial Magazine of Chaoshan History Relic, Chaoshan History and Culture Series(the 4th volumn), the Chaozhou Older Generation in Shanhai, Studying Chaoshan Dialect’s Pronunciation,Vocabulary and Grammar, Chaoshan Culture Anthology(the 3rd volumn).
　　 And the first publication of the Chaoshan-studying volumn of Rao Zhongyi’s works of the 20th century will be held at the same time.
